Whilst we will feature just 2 Universities below, Excel
have links to over 700 Universities and Colleges, mainly
in India; but also in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Tibet
and Sri Lanka. Courses in Pakistan should be available
shortly, and are currently being validated, prior to
inclusion

Hyderabad
- A City of Happening
Founded by Quli Qutub Shah in 1591, Hyderabad City is
fast growing into a model centre of Information Technology
and is gaining international importance in computational
and networking facilities. It has recently been given
the sobriquet 'Cyberabad'. It is the fifth largest metropolis
in India. It is a city with a rich tradition. It is
known for its architectural monuments - historic and
modern - including the celebrated Charminar and the
famous Golconda Fort. Its cultural heritage is a unique
blend of the oriental and the occidental and was earlier
known for its own leisurely life style. Hyderabad is
well known for its cuisine which is a gourmet's delight.
Situated at an altitude of 1722 ft, Hyderabad City has
a salubrious climate with low humidity during a large
part of the year. Except in summer (April and May),
the temperature varies between high twenties and thirties
degree centigrade most of the year. In summer the temperature
may shoot up to and hover around 400C. Hyderabad, located
as it is in the central part of India, is often called
the 'north of south and south of north of India'. The
city is well connected by road, rail and air with the
other principal cities of the country. Hyderabad City
is a meeting point of various cultures and you will
find yourself in a truly international learning environment.
Life outside the campus is exciting with the City offering
many local attractions. Escape to the countryside is

Cost:
Osmania University courses start at $325 per annum
(Including tuition fees and registration), for a basic
BA in your chosen Language(s). Charges vary dramatically,
so a BSc in Computing will cost $550 pa, whilst the
average Masters Degree will cost around $2, 200 pa
Student living costs in Hyderabad are currently about
$100 to $150 per month
Figures in US Dollars, but payable
in Indian Rupees - so prices may fluctuate with exchange
