As part of
our commitment to widen access to the study of the ancient
world, we offer a range of independent learning courses
in Latin at a variety of levels. Our courses start with
those designed for absolute beginners, and progress
to those where original Latin literature from a range
of authors is read for either pleasure or examination.
All courses are open to students anywhere in the world
and there is no age limitation (at either end of the
spectrum!).
Independent learners use a variety of resources (print
and web-based) and the support of an e-tutor, who directs
their learning, providing individual support and guidance
for improvement. You may start your course whenever
you are ready and progress at whatever pace you wish

Cost:
University courses in UK for Overseas students can range
from £4,000 to £18,000 per year, depending
on the institution, the level of course and the type
of course. Uk Nationals and Citizens of the EU have
considerably lower charging bands for study in UK
University courses in Latin are available in many countries,
with notably lower charging bands
Vocational Learning costs in the region of £200
per year for beginners, rising to £250 for GCSE
(Plus examination fees), and £500 for AS Level
(+ exam fees) |
