Teaching-training - The length of this class may vary
from three months to one year or longer, and is designed
to prepare Native English Speaking Teachers for a career
teaching International Spanish
5. Short-term Spanish language and culture - This class
emphasises listening and speaking skills. The courses
includes basic Spanish: listening comprehension, conversation,
reading, writing, and traditional Peruvian culture.
6. Summer/Winter camp - Lectures are offered in spoken
International Spanish with English support. Sightseeing
is arranged for students to learn and practice learnt
skills through direct contact.
7. Students are streamed into different classes according
to their scores on the test for proficiency in Spanish.
They will have experienced teachers.
8. Lessons are given from Monday to Friday, with a total
of 15 to 20 class hours each week.
9. There will be numerous lectures especially for foreign
students on Peruvian History, tourism, Ancient Civilisations,
Peruvian cuisine and education. Extra-curricular activities
include sightseeing in the city, field study in the
countryside, attending folk dances in Native Amazon
jungle villages, and singing Peruvian songs. They support
class work and are provided free of charge |
