languages, hence slowly over several centuries, a
new language was developed so every person could talk
to another - This new language
was called 'English'
English as we know it today, has been
developing and growing for more than one millennium:
• English does not use male and female words,
unlike most other languages except Chinese
• English was the first language to use only
the letter 's' for plural meanings
• Modern English has two main interpretations
which are not always easily interchangeable: British
English and American English
